How to Draw a Skeleton

This easy skeleton drawing starts with a round head and big oval eyes. Add a nose and a smile. Then draw bone arms with puffy hands, ribs, a bow-tie pelvis, and rounded feet. Follow the steps. Each picture adds a few lines.

Step 1
Draw the head
Start with a round head. Keep a soft chin bump at the bottom.
Step 2
Draw the left eye
Add a big filled oval eye on the left.
Step 3
Draw the right eye
Add a matching big oval on the right. Leave room in the middle for the nose.
Step 4
Draw the nose
Between the eyes, draw a tiny upside-down triangle and fill it in.
Step 5
Draw the smile
Add a wide smile under the nose. Keep it open and friendly for every later step.
Step 6
Draw the left arm
Keep the smile. From the left side, draw a bone arm and a puffy three-finger hand.
Step 7
Draw the waving arm
Add the right bone arm reaching up. Open a puffy hand in a wave.
Step 8
Draw the collar
Under the head, add a round collar curve that joins the shoulders.
Step 9
Draw the rib cage
Add a round body with three curved rib lines under the collar.
Step 10
Draw the spine
Hang a short stack of little bumps down from the body for the spine.

Draw the pelvis
Add the hips below the spine. Draw a bow-tie pelvis.

Draw the left leg
From the left of the bow-tie, draw a long bone and a rounded foot.

Draw the right leg
Match the right leg and rounded foot. That finishes the easy skeleton drawing.
