What this Privacy Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy covers how we treat Personal Data that we gather when you access or use our Services. “Personal Data” means any information that identifies or relates to a particular individual and also includes information referred to as “personally identifiable information” or “personal information” or “sensitive personal information” under applicable data privacy laws, rules or regulations. Other Permitted Purposes for Processing Personal Data
In addition, each of the above referenced categories of Personal Data may be collected, used, and disclosed with the government, including law enforcement, or other parties to meet certain legal requirements and enforcing legal terms including: fulfilling our legal obligations under applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process, such as preventing, detecting and investigating security incidents and potentially illegal or prohibited activities; protecting the rights, property or safety of you, Giant Labs or another party; enforcing any agreements with you; responding to claims that any posting or other content violates third-party rights; and resolving disputes.
We will not collect additional categories of Personal Data or use the Personal Data we collected for materially different, unrelated or incompatible purposes without providing you notice or obtaining your consent.

Tracking Tools, Advertising, and Opt-Out
The Services use cookies and similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, clear GIFs and JavaScript (collectively, “Cookies”) to enable our servers to recognize your web browser, tell us how and when you visit and use our Services, analyze trends, learn about our user base and operate and improve our Services. Cookies are small pieces of data– usually text files – placed on your computer, tablet, phone or similar device when you use that device to access our Services. Information about Interest-Based Advertisements
We may serve advertisements, and also allow third-party ad networks, including third-party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms, to serve advertisements through the Services. These advertisements may be targeted to users who fit certain general profile categories or display certain preferences or behaviors (“Interest-Based Ads”). Information for Interest-Based Ads (including Personal Data) may be provided to us by you, or derived from the usage patterns of particular users on the Services and/or services of third parties. Such information may be gathered through tracking users’ activities across time and unaffiliated properties, including when you leave the Services. To accomplish this, we or our service providers may deliver Cookies, including a file (known as a “web beacon”) from an ad network to you through the Services. Information We collect From Children
Giant does not actively collect any personal information from children. When using the ‘TalkTime’ feature to have live, friendly, conversations with AI characters Giant processes voice data from the user. This voice data is never stored and is not used for any other purposes.
Giant collects non-personal analytics data from users of our mobile app to monitor performance and improve the service.
Information We Collect from Parents
In our Giant mobile application, parents are asked to provide the first name, month and year of birth, pronouns, and eye color of children they wish to create profiles for. Giant also requests a photo of the child which is solely used to create the child’s cartoon avatar which personalises their experience in the app. The input image is never stored and is immediately deleted after the avatar is generated.
Giant collects a parent name, email address, and optionally a phone number, when parent’s create their account. Giant uses this information to provide the parent with notice of what their child can do in the app, our data practices, and obtain parental consent for the child to use the app. If the parent does not provide consent within 48 hours, or opts out, Giant deletes all the information provided by the parent.
Giant collects non-personal analytics data from users of our mobile app to monitor performance and improve the service.

Kids Privacy Assured by PRIVO: COPPA Safe Harbor Certification
Giant is a member of the PRIVO Kids Privacy Assured COPPA safe harbor certification Program (“the Program”). The Program certification applies to the digital properties listed on the certification page that is viewable by clicking on the PRIVO Seal. PRIVO is an independent, third-party organization committed to supporting online services to safeguard children’s personal information collected online. The PRIVO COPPA safe harbor certification Seal posted on this page indicates Giant has established COPPA compliant privacy practices and has agreed to submit to PRIVO’s oversight and consumer dispute resolution process. Service Providers we work with
Giant uses the following service providers in relation to children to help us provide the best possible experience to users. These service providers do not share user data with any other third parties.
Vapi to provide our ‘Call a character’/ ‘TalkTime’ feature in our app. Voice data is not stored or used for any other purposes. Giant temporarily retains text transcripts of conversations for content moderation and to improve the feature.
Mixpanel is used for in-app analytics. No personal data is collected by Mixpanel.
Sentry provides performance monitoring and error reporting in our app. No personal data is collected by Sentry.
Supabase is Giant’s database provider and securely stores all information Giant collects from both children and adults. Supabase does not share user data, or use Giant’s information for any other purposes.
xAI – Giant uses xAI to help generate the cartoon avatars which personalise the app experience for children. The input images are never stored, and xAI does not use the data for any other purpose, such as model training.
